The oil of the Virginia witch hazel (witch hazel) has an anti-itching, antibacterial, wound-healing and antioxidant effect. Hamamelistannins form a complex with skin proteins that reduces blood flow in the fine capillary vessels and reduces inflammatory skin reactions. The strong effect of witch hazel has been well proven by numerous studies and makes it the first choice for skin inflammation.
Blueberry or blueberry seed oil contains powerful antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins. It is a light oil and is excellent at increasing skin elasticity, moisturizing and rejuvenating the skin. Its soothing properties for eczema, acne and scars as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects are based on the tannins, ursol acids and bioflavonoids it contains. It is therefore ideal for use in a nourishing after shave.
The oil is extracted from the African baobab tree and has wound-healing properties and is extremely rich in linoleic acid and palmitic acid - vitamins A, E and F are also contained in unusually high doses.
