Closed comb systems: Skin-friendly and precise
The sober safety razor is a safety razor equipped with a closed comb and a practical screw cap - which makes it durable and robust. In contrast to safety razors with an open comb, the risk of injury due to cuts is significantly reduced with safety razors with a closed comb, as the razor blade does not lie directly on the razor and offers less surface area for attack. In addition, wet shaving with a closed comb is much more skin-friendly and is also suitable for men's sensitive skin thanks to its smaller gap. A safety razor always makes male shaving a special, intimate and, compared to standard system razors, a permanently cheaper and more thorough shaving experience.

The sober safety razor was created in the world-famous blade city of Solingen in collaboration with our development and design team. With its handle made of pure Edelstadt and its closed comb made of die-cast zinc, it offers a perfect grip and gap for even the most demanding wet shave. The sober safety razor was painted matt black using a process used exclusively for us to make every shave a particularly exclusive ritual.

Risking to sound too overexcited, this is really the best I've tried! My skin feels very soft even after the first use, and the effect never disappoints. Redness has improved considerably; pores, too. Additionally to daily cleaning, once a week I leave it on my skin for a few minutes, and I can feel a good but gentle peeling effect. Simply everything is nice about it, including packaging, look, smell etc. One small space for improvement: the dispenser sometimes chokes or gives out very little, but it recovers after another push.
